About

Jenna Scifres creates quality, comfortable, handmade jewelry that makes a bold statement in its simplicity.  She loves creating meaningful, customized jewelry with Swarovski crystals and semi-precious and precious gemstones.  The technique Jenna uses to make personalized name and initial jewelry is metal stamping - a very different process than metal engraving with a machine, metal stamping means every letter and number is stamped individually by hand.

Jenna started selling her handmade jewelry at craft and art shows in Illinois in 2009 and opened her Etsy store in 2011.  Shortly after opening her Etsy shop, she began selling her handmade jewelry to retail shops and boutiques around the US.  Jenna's dream was to quit her "corporate day job" to create and sell jewelry full time, and she was able to do so in 2016!  Then in 2017, she started selling on Handmade at Amazon and opened up her own website store.

In addition to her jewelry business, Jenna consults with other handmade artists and small businesses on e-commerce and creative social media campaign planning.  Jenna was a guest speaker at the Business of Art Conference in Peoria, IL in 2016, 2017, and 2018.  Her jewelry designs and tutorials have been featured in print publications such as GreenCraft Magazine and Jewelry Affaire Magazine.

She also regularly instructs jewelry making classes at Illinois Central College in Peoria, IL and Small Town Brewery in Wauconda, IL.  Jenna is available as a guest instructor for local bead shops, speaking at events for e-commerce / handmade sellers, and in-home jewelry making classes or shopping parties.
